The American College Promise Rebuttal Argument FormThe American College Promise Rebuttal Argument Form is a particular form of Argument which allows one to respond to a College Promise rhetorical analysis essay in a new and innovative way. This form of rebuttal may be used against almost any essay question, but is most effective when it is employed against a College Promise rhetorical analysis.The crux of the American College Promise Rebuttal Argument Form is to simply reframe the argument that was presented by the College in an attempt to destroy it. This can be done in a number of ways. It could be done by introducing words or phrases to change the tone of the argument.For example, one could introduce a phrase such as 'so what', 'doubtful', 'hearsay' and/or 'unknown'. This will completely change the overall tone of the argument, in an attempt to show that the student could not possibly believe what was being said, as he would rather be doing something else rather than doing somethi ng he is doing. Alternatively, he could actually show that the College is lying in its wording, by answering the question with another rhetorical question of his own, such as; 'who are you trying to fool'?This form of Rebuttal Argument has been used on several occasions in defending against a College Promise rhetorical analysis. When used correctly, it will obviously not alter the meaning of the argument at all, but rather, will show that the College's question was ridiculous, as he would rather be doing something else with his time.Another tactic is to simply bring up the three most important things the student knows about the topic at hand. By bringing up these three important things, the argument is destroyed and the College has to argue for their statement rather than explain it. This is especially effective when the student brought up some reason, such as the fact that some people had said that getting a degree from a college would be difficult, or something along those lines.I f you can show the reader that someone else had said that the college promise was silly, then you have gone a long way to destroying the argument. This is especially effective when the source that the writer used is a College faculty member. However, this form of Rebuttal Argument is a bit tricky when you are attempting to attack a College Promise rhetorical analysis because the writer of the essay may well have not actually said what the reader thinks they had said.The trick here is to show the reader that the writer is simply lying or misleading the reader, in order to attack the College's statement that getting a degree from their school would be difficult. This type of Rebuttal Argument can be quite effective, but it is often countered by attacking the writer's motives for writing the essay. The fact that they may have a bias against getting a degree, and because of that, they are afraid of telling the truth, are just one possible argument.When the form of Rebuttal Argument has been properly used against a College Promise, the author will usually understand why the College is trying to stop someone from completing the program, as the only reason they have for doing so is pure selfishness. To further ensure success against this form of argument, a student should always maintain an attitude of constant self-discipline, and that they will never give up. Anything less is a complete failure.
